Nourishing the human heart and spirit through contemplative practices and expressive arts.
ARTSpressions: Finger Labyrinth
We’ve had a lot of requests to offer the ARTSpressions: Finger Labyrinth event again – so here it is! Come and create your own pottery finger labyrinth with us on July 22, 2019 @ 6:30 pm.
An ancient symbol that relates to wholeness, the labyrinth path represents the spiritual journey to our center and back out again into the world. It’s a wonderful tool for meditation and prayer.
Chapel Hill potter, Robin Frelier, will guide us in this fun process. Each piece will be glazed and fired for you in Robin’s kiln.
Saturday, August 3
11:00 am – 1:30 pm
This is a new offering – an opportunity to spend a couple of hours learning about and engaging in spiritual practices. The theme for this first Soul-Full Saturday is Presence.
Allison Spooner, yoga instructor and Monica Citty Hix, spiritual companion and minister, will guide our time together. We invite you to this communal space to listen, learn, practice, reflect and nourish your spirit. Our day will include embodied practices, chair yoga, centering prayer and Visio Divina. If you are seeking ways to go deeper in your spiritual journey, we hope you’ll join us for our first Soul-Full Saturday.
