Mothering Retreat: Life-Womb

Co-led by Monica Citty Hix and Ally Markotich. The image of Life-Womb will guide our time together during this contemplative retreat. Through storytelling, contemplative practices, silence and painting, we will listen to our mothering journeys of bearing, holding, and birthing.

Joe’s Camp – a Camp for Kids Whose Family Has Been Touched by ALS
August 3-5 2018
Camp Canaan in Rock Hill, SC

This is the second year of Joe’s Camp. New this year, an Overnight Program for kids 8-17. The Family Day for adults and kids is Sunday, August 5. The camp will include kayaking, swimming, games, team building and adventure activities.
Inner Ground is grateful for the opportunity to participate in Joe’s Camp again this year. We’re excited to lead a drum circle and drama therapy session for the campers.

Weekend Retreat: Finding and Nurturing the Mother Within

Retreat leader, Marjorie Donnelly, M. Ed in Counseling and graduate of Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Spiritual Guidance. She currently serves as Director of Christian Formation at Holy Trinity Epicopal Church in Greensboro, NC.
$275, includes private room in beachfront house, all meals and retreat leadership.

As a mother, you are used to tending to your children’s ever changing needs. But how do you tend to your own developmental needs during each stage of motherhood? As one season ends, how do you intentionally bless what has been so that you can create space for what is to come? All along the journey, how do you find and nurture the mother inside yourself?

Joe’s Camp – Day Camp for Families Living with ALS

Camp Canaan in Rock Hill, SC

The camp will include swimming, games and adventure activities for the whole family as well as guided age-appropriate break out sessions for ALS discussion and activities for both children and parents. There is no cost to attend this camp and lunch and dinner will be provided to all participants.
Inner Ground is grateful for the opportunity to offer a drumming circle and art therapy session for Joe’s Camp.
